Location

The meets will be held in the Carberry area. The maps have been fully surveyed and printed in 2001. The fieldwork has been done by Jack Forsyth and Sheldon Friesen.

Click here for a map of the area.

Terrain

Sandhills: oak and aspen scrub with stands of spruce. Dense undergrowth in many areas, but with much open area offering very fast runnability.  The leaves will be mostly down at this time of year so visibility is good everywhere. There is one creek running through the map but most courses will not encounter it. It is crossable everywhere. The area is used as rough pasture, so there are fences in good order, and many small cattle trails which do not necessarily form a network.  There will be vehicle access into the area for parking. There will be cattle in the area. Remember that this is private land: please respect the landowners' rights.
